Best Caddy Trays: Fit, Size and Capacity Checks

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Details

Caddy trays are simple, which makes a single mismatch easy to miss. Start with the size that could rule a tray out, usually the width of the tub rim or the shelf it must sit on. Measure that space first, then check the stated dimensions before you read about finishes or extra compartments.

Compare materials, capacity and included parts once the size works. A tray that holds a few bottles may fail with a full set, so confirm anything a listing leaves unstated.

Quick answer

Decide first whether you want a tray that rests across the tub or a handled tote. The ROYAL CRAFT WOOD and Yirilan are bamboo bath trays listed at 43 x 9.1 x 2 inches and 41 x 9.1 x 2.4 inches. The Jiaan, Tiawudi, Enjoy Organizer and Storex are plastic caddies with handles.

Measure your tub rim for the trays and your shelf for the totes, and confirm any missing size on the current page. If you do want a bath tray, only the two bamboo products fit that job.

FAQ

Are caddy trays the same as bath trays?

Not always. In these six, the ROYAL CRAFT WOOD and Yirilan are bamboo bath trays that span a tub, while the Jiaan, Tiawudi, Enjoy Organizer and Storex are plastic totes with handles for carrying supplies.

Which products are meant for the bath?

The two bamboo trays. The ROYAL CRAFT WOOD is listed at 43 x 9.1 x 2 inches and the Yirilan at 41 x 9.1 x 2.4 inches. Measure your tub rim before you order.

Is the Tiawudi or the Storex a bath tray?

No. The Tiawudi is described as a desk organizer for stationery and the Storex as a cleaning caddy, so neither is a bath tray despite the caddy wording.

Do these listings state a weight capacity?

No. None of the six listings states how much weight it can carry, so confirm it on the product page before you load a bath tray or a tote.

What size is the Jiaan tote?

The Jiaan is listed at 14.9 inches long x 10.8 inches wide x 4.5 inches high. The other three plastic totes do not state dimensions in the fields used here.

Which product offers a reading feature?

The Yirilan names a book rest in its title. The ROYAL CRAFT WOOD does not.

Closing note

If a tray across the bath is what you want, the two bamboo trays are the ones that match. The plastic totes can hold supplies, but they are a different kind of product and should be bought for that job.
