A wall mount bathroom sink hangs from a bracket fixed to the wall, so the floor under it stays open and there is no cabinet to build around. This page compares nine wall mount bathroom sink listings that the research file lists as sinks, using only the facts those listings state. It also covers what three install guides say about wall framing, anchoring and codes. Most of these listings are vessel-style basins, and the listings do not agree on every dimension, so the numbers below are shown as each listing gives them. Faucets and pop-up drains are sold separately in most of these listings, so budget for them as a separate purchase.
Quick answer
- All nine items in the research file are listed as sinks. None is a faucet, shower head or drain kit.
- Stated sizes run from about 14 inches to 35 inches wide. The smallest is a 14.3 by 10.1 inch KMOEM listing, and the largest is a 35 inch stone resin listing from MEDUNJESS.
- Most listings state a 1.75 inch drain opening. Faucet hole sizes vary, and some listings state none.
- Two of the install guides we opened say the bracket belongs on wall framing, and all three say local plumbing and building codes apply.
- No listing or guide in this review gives a wall load rating or an anchor rating, so check the wall and bracket before you buy.
How we chose
The nine products come from a search for the phrase wall mount bathroom sink. The research file holds 48 results, and nine of them went into this roundup. The rest were left out for one of two reasons: the listing did not clearly describe a wall mounted sink, or the file did not hold the basic facts a reader would need to compare it. Each product section below uses the listing’s own specification fields, such as material, size, drain type, faucet hole count and installation type. Where a listing gives two different sizes, both are shown.
The criteria are plain. First, the listing must describe a wall mounted or wall hung sink. Second, it must state material, overall size and drain type. Third, it must say what is included in the box. A listing that left one of those out is noted in its section rather than filled in from general knowledge. The research file was checked on 2026-10-27. Prices, ratings and review counts were not part of this comparison.
The nine listings
Lordear 21 x 16 inch rectangular white ceramic wall hung sink
The listing gives the sink as ceramic, white, rectangular, with a size of 21 by 16 inches and a product depth of 6 inches. The listing says the sink has a chrome finished overflow and a US standard 1.75 inch drain opening. It says faucet and drain are not included. It describes the installation type as wall mount and the drain type as pop-up. The listing states an item weight of 34 pounds. The specifications also list a base width of 24 inches, which does not match the 21 inch width in the title, so the two figures should be checked against the product page before you plan a cutout. The listing also says installation hardware is included. View on Amazon
Mocoloo 21 x 16 inch wall mounted porcelain sink
The listing describes a porcelain, white, rectangular wall mounted sink. The product dimensions field says 16 inches deep by 21 inches wide by 6 inches high. The bullet points give different overall dimensions, 20.9 inches wide by 16.5 inches deep by 6 inches high, so the two sets disagree slightly. The listing says the sink has a single faucet hole and a standard 1.75 inch drain opening, with an integrated overflow. It says the pop-up drain and faucet are not included. The listing gives an item weight of 30 pounds. The bullets say the back is unfinished with holes for securing to a wall. It also says the sink can be set on a counter and fixed with caulking, which is a different install method from a wall bracket, so the listing is unclear about the mounting approach. View on Amazon
NUESTRA VIDA 24 x 16.7 inch ceramic wall hung sink
This listing describes a white ceramic rectangular sink with a width of 24 inches, a depth of 16.7 inches and a height of 5.1 inches. It says the sink supports both wall mounted and countertop installation, and that it comes with mounting hardware. The listing also says the faucet and pop-up drain are sold separately. Swiss Madison Claire 24 inch rectangle wall-mount sink
This listing is for a glossy white ceramic sink in the Claire style. The title says 24 inches, and the product dimensions field says 23.63 inches deep by 16.75 inches wide by 5.63 inches high. The bullet points give 24 inches wide, 17 inches deep and 6 inches high, so the listing’s own figures differ. The listing states a basin depth of 4.13 inches, a standard 1.75 inch drain opening and one faucet hole. It says faucet and drain are sold separately, and that the package includes the sink and mounting hardware. The listing gives an item weight of 39.6 pounds and a 1 year limited warranty. This is the widest listing in the set. It describes a matte white single hole sink made of resin and stone, measuring 35 inches wide, 19 inches deep and 4.33 inches high. The listing gives an item weight of 44 pounds. It says the sink is rectangular, with a single hole faucet design, and that it comes with mounting hardware and step-by-step instructions. The listing says the sink can be floating, countertop or wall hung, which is a wider claim than the installation type field gives, so read the product page before you plan the mount. The listing also says the pop-up drain type is used. It does not state a drain opening size in the fields we reviewed. View on Amazon

The care line says to check mounting hardware regularly, avoid abrasive cleaners and clean with mild soap and water. The listing says the sink is included, and it does not say whether a faucet or drain is included. View on Amazon
Install notes from the sources we opened
The three sources below are manufacturer and retailer install documents, not general advice. They agree on the main points, with one exception on anchors that is explained below.
The Sloan wall hung lavatory guide says that adequate reinforced wall framing is required behind the wall for proper hanger bracket support. The same guide says that use of wall anchors or toggle bolts is not recommended. It also says to check all local plumbing and building codes, and to use plumbers putty on the drain assembly to ensure a water seal. The guide warns that vitreous china can chip or break if the bolts or nuts are over-tightened.
The Signature Hardware install guide says the sink should be anchored to two wall studs. It says you can locate studs by knocking on the wall for a solid sound or by using a stud finder. If the studs do not line up with the mounting location, the guide says wood blocking can be installed between the studs using standard 2 x 4s. It also says P traps are required for all sinks in compliance with plumbing codes.
The Lowes installation guide for a wall mount bathroom sink says to observe all local plumbing and building codes. It says its fixings are suitable for solid walls only, and that plasterboard or stud walls may require specialist fixings. It advises applying silicone caulk where the sink meets the wall, to keep water from getting behind the sink.
In practical terms, the sources point to the same first step. Find the studs, check whether the bracket can be fixed to framing, and add blocking if the studs do not line up. Because the Lowes guide includes anchors in its kit and the Sloan guide advises against them for hanger brackets, do not assume the anchors that come with a listing are right for your wall. Confirm the wall construction first.
The sources do not say who must do the installation. They do say that local plumbing and building codes apply and that a P trap is required. If you are not sure how to handle the water supply, the drain or the wall framing, the sources do not give a substitute for checking your local code requirements and the instructions from the sink maker.
What we could not verify: what the sources do not say
- No source we opened gives a load rating or a weight limit for a wall bracket, so this article does not state one.
- No source gives an anchor size or the number of anchors for any specific sink. The Lowes kit includes two anchors, but the sources do not state a load rating for them.
- No source gives the supply line size or the drain size beyond the 1.75 inch opening that the listings state.
- The listings do not say whether a given sink is compatible with a given faucet, other than the hole counts and hole sizes stated.
- The listings differ on size and mounting method for several products. Those differences are shown in each section and should be checked on the product page before you buy.
- No listing in this review states a wall structure requirement, a maximum wall thickness or a warranty on the mount.
FAQ
Can a wall mount bathroom sink be hung on drywall alone?
The Sloan guide says adequate reinforced wall framing is required behind the wall for proper hanger bracket support, and it advises against wall anchors or toggle bolts for the bracket. The Signature guide says the sink should be anchored to two wall studs. The sources point to framing rather than drywall alone.
Do I need a wall stud finder?
The Signature guide says to locate the studs by knocking on the wall for a solid sound or by using a stud finder. A stud finder is one of the tools it lists. The guide also notes that if the studs do not line up with the sink location, wood blocking can be added between them.
Do the listings include the faucet and drain?
In most of the listings in this review, the faucet and drain are not included. Several say so directly. The Lordear, Mocoloo, QISHKA, Swiss Madison, KMOEM and Logmey listings state this, and the NUESTRA VIDA listing says faucet and pop-up drain are sold separately. The MEDUNJESS and MIJIC listings are less clear, so check them before you buy.
What drain size do these sinks use?
Most listings in this review state a standard 1.75 inch drain opening. The MEDUNJESS listing does not give one in the fields we reviewed. The Signature and Lowes guides refer to a P trap, and the Sloan guide refers to plumbers putty on the drain assembly. Check your drain and trap before you buy.
Do these sinks need to be installed by a licensed plumber?
None of the three sources we opened says who must do the installation. They say local plumbing and building codes apply and that a P trap is required. Whether a permit or a licensed installer is required depends on your local rules. Check with your local building department before you start.
Why do some listings show two different sizes?
Listings sometimes give a product dimension, an overall size in the bullets and an internal basin size. The Mocoloo, Swiss Madison and Logmey listings each show more than one set of figures. The differences are small in some cases, but they matter if you are cutting a countertop or planning a wall opening. Use the figure from the product page and measure your own space before you buy.
Bottom line
A wall mount bathroom sink is a good fit when you want to free up floor space and your wall can carry a bracket fixed to framing. Compare the listings on the stated size, drain opening and faucet hole count, and check the figures that disagree. Before you buy, confirm the wall structure and the local code requirements, because the listings do not state a load rating and the install guides point to framing rather than drywall alone.
